Work is zooming ahead at Millbay

The old millbay will soon be a thing of the past. Work today had moved faster than ever before over the whole project area. The building which will be home to offices behind the phoenix quay development was quickly rising as sediment was being removed from the sides of the inner harbour at millbay. Work didnt just stop there! Clyde Quay saw non stop movement. A small pier had also been contructed and taken to the side of Clyde Quay, most likely for the purpose of maintaining the wall. The larger area of barren land at the side of bollard house saw trees and shrubs being removed in the evening, making the most of the sunlight.  We have learnt that the logs piled up on the quay however, are not part of the project.

Throughout the day, we took some interesting photos, which show you exactly how things are developing, and we will share them with you too! We will provide a link to where the photos will be within the next few days via twitter...
